On this last day of #WomensHistoryMonth, we’re highlighting Dr. Pearl Mayo Gore Dansby, a graduate of Tennessee A & I in 1949 and 1951. She was first the woman to receive an undergraduate degree in Psychology. After gaining her doctorate in Psychology at Ohio State, she returned back to TSU and became the first woman to chair the Psychology Department. Right now, there’s a lecture series named for Dr. Dansby in the Department of Psychology. #WeMarchtoHERstory #WomensHistoryMonth #BlackWomenHistory
