Today I turned 21 and I want to share with you this special poem by Mahmoud Darwish that’s very very close to my heart. 🤍🇵🇸 thanks to all your birthday wishes and love! 💙 means the whole world to me! This birthday is extra special that I’m home and with my family! Very grateful 🥺

“Her eyes and the tattoo on her hands are Palestinian,

Her name, Palestinian,

Her dreams and sorrow, Palestinian,

Her kerchief, her feet and body, Palestinian,

Her words and her silence, Palestinian,

Her voice, Palestinian‏,

Her birth and her death, Palestinian.
