The third mistake is letting someone else do all the recruiting work for you.

This is your recruiting process! You are the one who is ultimately going to be attending the school you choose and playing on the lacrosse team. Meaning: you should be in the driver’s seat. You should be the one researching schools, making highlight reels (or finding a professional to help you), introducing yourself to coaches, sending emails, taking phone calls, and finding camps and clinics to attend.
