On this day the legendary Frank Stella was born 🎨🏁

In 1976, Stella transformed the BMW 3.0 CSL into a rolling masterpiece, the 2nd BMW Art Car. 

His visionary graph paper design made it a standout on the race tracks, especially at 300 km/h during the Le Mans 24-hour race. Here’s to Stella’s impeccable merging of art and speed in #BMWArtCar2
