Today marks the debut of #skateboarding in the Olympic Games.⁠

Invited by members of the Carhartt skateboard team to travel with them in Europe, Sebastian Denz created a series of photographs at skateboard parks that are only visible wearing 3D glasses. Combining references to a popular sport, urban street life, and technology, the artist describes the project as an exploration of “the growing presence and evolution of virtual spaces in our society, space in a phenomenological sense, and human beings who create their own constructions of reality within these spaces.” ⁠
