Serving in the military is a great honor and major commitment. It can provide an individual with the discipline and determination required to succeed. United States Air Force Special Forces Recruiter Chris Maurer has transition his experience as a three sport athlete into a successful military career.

Welcome our next speaker, SSgt Chris Maurer!!

Staff Sergeant Chris Maurer. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. Active Duty Military for 10 years to date. Formerly stationed in Charleston, SC but now a Special Warfare Recruiter for the Air Force. He grew up playing Hockey, Football, and Rugby. Has a beautiful wife over the past 7 years, Ashley. He may be from Pittsburgh, but he is a die hard Cincinnati Bengals fan.

He has been a Air Force Special Warfare recruiter since October 2023, and is looking forward to helping those out there understand what the Air Force and Special Forces can provide in an individuals life instead thinking of them as just planes and jets. The Air Force has taught him resiliency, teamwork, and real effort and he is here to share that knowledge with the next generation.
