I’ve had limited mobility and serious pain in my shoulder (ie “frozen shoulder”) for exactly one year, which has been depressing and scary for a guitar player. Within the past 72 hours, the pain has almost completely gone away and my mobility has been 90% restored after reading this book (and I’m only about 3/4 of the way through). Highly recommend for anyone with back / shoulder / neck / hip / arm / elbow / hand pain, sciatica, fibromyalgia, and even TMJ. Tell me your success stories. **I also want to point out that along my journey, I got excellent guidance, exercises and stretches from people like body worker and FMR therapist coachcarter707 and my local PT and an excellent chiropractor in town. I could not turn the corner and recover past the halfway mark for the past few months, however. I’ve stayed stuck in pain. For me, being open to the concepts in this book, really absorbing the knowledge, and pushing through the pain and fear is what did it. I still can’t believe how quickly the pain dissipated in a matter of 3 days of reading a book. It is critical to note that I didn’t have an irregular XRay and though I cancelled my upcoming MRI appt, had 3 medical doctors and an osteopath tell me I didn’t need surgery and that I likely had no tear or rupture in the shoulder.
***UPDATE 5 weeks later: I’ve learned much more since posting this and have had some setbacks and some major progress. DM me if you’d like more info, but my experience with frozen shoulder has been that although this book greatly helped me, TMS is not the cause of frozen shoulder. This condition is often caused by hormonal changes which is why it is most often found in women. Also it was vital to break up the very real (and physical) thicker tissue (some say scar tissue) which had formed in the shoulder capsule to get relief. I did this with the help of an orthopedic acupuncturist who specializes in strain / #counterstrain and has healed many many frozen shoulders this way. Was down to 75% recovered and am now back to 90%.
