My bloating has been SO MUCH BETTER lately…

For years, my mornings were a whirlwind: coffee, a breakfast bar, intense workout – all before a proper breakfast. And, I skimped on sleep to squeeze it all in.

But with a new routine, the changes have been amazing! Less inflammation, more energy, better sleep, and most importantly – less bloating!

What am I doing differently?

High-Protein Breakfast: Instead of the morning coffee and bar on the go, I’m starting with a balanced breakfast packed with protein, fiber, and healthy fats. This helped regulate my blood sugar, providing sustained energy and keeping me from reaching for that immediate caffeine boost.

Ditching Early Caffeine: Feeling more energized from breakfast allowed me to hold off on caffeine for over an hour after waking. This has helped stabilize my cortisol levels and prevented feeling overstimulated.

Supplements: I take a lot of supplements for my PCOS, but a pre/pro/postbiotic and inositol are amazing for gut health and hormone balance.

Low-Impact Workouts: I’ve swapped intense workouts for lower impact workouts. These help raise my heart rate without spiking my cortisol.

Sweet Treats with Less Sugar: I’ve also started experimenting with healthier dessert options, reducing added sugar while still satisfying my sweet tooth.

These changes may seem small, but the impact on my overall well-being has been incredible.

They all help me escape FIGHT OR FLIGHT, and activate + rest and digest.
When your body feels safe and your stress levels go down, your body is able to prioritize digestion and bloating can improve.

What do you think about this? Do you think you’re over-stressing your body?
