Have you tried Green Giant® Veggie Fries® or Veggie Rings®? #AD What if I told you, you could get in real veggies when you enjoy these tasty, crispy, crunchy snacks? I know my 3 kids LOVE them which is surprising since they are so picky! I guess it is the savory flavors like Zucchini Garlic & Parmesan, Cauliflower Ranch with Bacon & Cauliflower French Onion that have them hooked.
.
.
GreenGiant Veggie Fries® and Veggie Rings® are a great alternative to fries & onion rings. They make a delish side, snack, or even game day appetizer.
.
You can serve them with your family’s fave dipping sauces, or even incorporate them into snacks like Chili Cheese Veggie Fries Get our recipe below!
.

Chili ((I made a lot since it keeps well--feel free to half this recipe))
2 lbs. ground beef
1 yellow onion
2 cloves garlic pressed or minced
1 29 oz. can of diced tomatoes *do not drain
24 oz. tomato sauce
1 cup beef broth
3 ounces tomato paste
1 tsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. spiceislands_ Ground Cumin Seed
2 tsps. Spice Islands Smoked Paprika
2 tbsps. Spice Islands Chili Powder
1 tsp. red pepper sauce
1 tsp. salt * more to taste if you prefer
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 can of red kidney beans rinsed and drained
1 can of dark red kidney beans rinsed and drained
.
Fave Flavor of Green Giant Veggie Fries & cheese
.
.
Directions:
Over medium heat add the ground beef to a large pot. Season with salt & ground pepper. Using a spatula break up the meat & cook until browned; drain any excess grease.
Add in the onion, & garlic; cook for an additional 3 mins.
.
Add the beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, brown sugar, cumin, paprika, chili powder, pepper sauce, & salt to the pot; bring to a simmer. Cook mixture for 30 mins over low-medium heat. Add in the kidney beans last so they don't get mushy. Cook chili for an additional 15 mins adjusting to your taste.
.
.
Add parchment paper to a baking sheet. Cook fries according to the package instructions. Once done, spoon chili and liquid cheese over the top of your fries. Top with sour cream, & chives. Enjoy!
