AD: There is nothing quite as classic as hot dogs & beans. But, when you make a loaded hot dog with cheese, bacon, and beans, things get intense--especially when the beans are from the Serious Bean Company! We recently had the pleasure of working with seriousbeanco for a fun recipe that featured their unique, quirky, and tasty beans. Check out the link in my BIO!

It was hard to choose which flavors to feature in my stuffed hot dogs recipe, but I went with the Southern Mustard-Q BBQ Beans. Since mustard is a popular hot dog topping, it made sense to use these. However, any flavor would work well and this was just a matter of preference.

To make my Bacon, Bean, and Cheese Stuffed Hot Dogs, I slit my hog dogs and filled them with a slice of chunk-style cheddar cheese, and pre-cooked bacon. I then baked them for ten minutes to cook the dogs and get the cheese perfectly melty. I heated my Southern Mustard-Q BBQ Beans and filled split bakery-style hot dog buns with a portion of beans.

Then, once the dogs were complete I added one bacon and cheese stuffed hot dog to each, and topped it with additional beans, diced onion, and some cilantro. You can use green onion or parsley too! These dogs were served with some chips and heated Dr Pepper Baked beans with some additional bacon mixed in. Boy was this meal super flavorful and filling!
