Cream Horns are a pastry that I always gravitate towards when I visit local bakeries. #AD There is just something so delicate, rich, and delicious about these uniquely shaped pastries. I have always wanted to make some myself and recently, I did just that!

Hello, Cream Horns filled with Lemon Real Whipped Cream -- nice to eat you! These cream puffs were a fun learning experience in the kitchen and taught patience, and detail. They wouldn't be filled with lemony goodness if it wasn't for the Amoretti Natural Artisan Lemon Flavor I used.

I recently had the pleasure to be introduced to this dreamy company and am surely a life-long customer now! They are both a professional and home baker's dream come true! They have literally everything you could think of to flavor pastries, cakes, drinks, candies-- my gosh, there is so much I cannot even list it all!

Honestly, I don't get *that* excited about many companies but this one gives me stars in my eyes! I love everything they sell and would love to grow a collection of artisan flavors, compounds, swirls--too much to name & all for an AMAZING price! Scroll to see some of my initial purchases --can't wait to use that Bourbon-Madagascar.

But now back to the cream puffs! I used 1 teaspoon of Natural Artisan Lemon flavor to transform 16 ounces of heavy whipping cream. I did add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar to the mix, but holy WOW did this turn into a lemon-filled dream.

I plan on sharing my Cream Horn tutorial on the site but know that I did use frozen puff pastry dough but with a mastered technique to achieve the perfect horn swirl! Stay tuned!
