#BMWArtJourney artist LuYang’s first solo exhibition of NFT-backed artwork at Vellum LA opened last week during #FriezeLA.🎉

Co-curated by alicescope and barrythrew, the exhibition ‘Material Wonderland’ includes 8 new video loops as well as a large-scale triptych, presenting an interactive open narrative as a transcendental technology-of-the-self. Deeply influenced by Japanese otaku subculture and through concepts of the Material World from a Buddhist point of view, #LuYang invites viewers to transcend binary thinking, and reconsider philosophical questions about mortality and identity.
