To tell you guys, the honest truth, I love Mens League. And the reason for that is, one it’s fun, two you can make some good friends and good memories, and three if you’re trying to get some work in, no matter what your level is a Men’s League is not the worst place to do it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Back in 2019 when I first started playing baseball again after my college career was over, and I wanted to continue playing.  Men’s league baseball allowed me to get my work in and learn from the ex pros that were on my team which was so helpful! I got some good guidance and sure enough in 2020 was able to be good enough to play professional baseball.

Did Mens League prepare me well enough to be great in professional baseball? The answer is yes and no, everyone in professional baseball is paid to do what they do, and therefore you see a lot more dedication and work ethic because everyone’s fighting to get to the next level, and in Mens League, that’s not the case, while there is competitiveness , no one’s being paid to be out there and therefore investing in themselves much during the week leading up to those games. While the baseball IQ and experience may be there, the day in and day out preparation that you see in professional baseball doesn’t exist in Mens League. That’s just my take. Let me know if you agree or disagree in the comments. But otherwise, Mens League is a great place to go get some reps in and have fun. 🙌🏼💪🏼
