A love letter to the Central Michigan University community, 

Thank you to every single person who’s been a part of the biggest adventure of my life. It’s been the most fun, challenging and fulfilling years I’ve had the luck of experiencing. I’ll be forever grateful for the successes, hardships and lessons that have taught me more about myself than I ever thought possible. You all made me into who I am today, and words cannot express how grateful I am to have had you be a part of my everyday life. Even if I knew you for just a semester, know that I will always cherish our time together.

Thank you for sharing my love of American pop culture, letting me rant endlessly about Eurovision, and being open to trying new foods and Swedish candy. Thank you for making fun of my Y’s and J’s, hiding ducks around my room, and making sure I know ICE is on speed dial. Thank you for laughing at my jokes during Quiplash, beating me in Mariokart and getting slurpies for the free. 

I leave a better person with friendships and memories to last a lifetime. A part of my heart will forever belong to Michigan. Fire up forever.
