With a deep commitment to mental health care, Dr. Hamrick specializes in providing expert consultation and treatment for psychiatric conditions across medical specialties. His dedication to patient-centered care and education makes him a valuable asset to our team and community. 

"The most rewarding element of my work is providing treatment and relief for people going through some of the hardest moments of their lives. As we recognize #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, Dr. Hamrick says that stigma is still a prominent issue when it comes to mental health conditions.

"Normalizing mental health and seeking treatment is a big step towards treating those who need it. Addressing your mental health is a crucial aspect of treating your overall health. If you're depressed, it's going to be that much harder to work with your physical therapist. If you're anxious, you may not follow up with your primary doctor like you should. Mental health providers serve an important function in helping treat the overall person. It's important to prioritize your own mental health, even when that means taking time out of your busy schedule. You can't fill from an empty cup!"
