Not CraterLakenps, though. #DidYouKnow that the lake wasn’t formed by the landing of a massive meteor thousands of years ago, but rather a volcanic eruption so huge it collapsed a mountain and formed the deepest lake in the United States!

➡️Swipe for a picture of a real crater! (one made from a meteor crashing into Earth from space) This one can be found near Winslow, Arizona at the sight of the Barringer or Meteor Crater. The massive dent is over half a mile wide and was formed around 50,000 years ago. Though the crater remains on private property, it was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1967!
