I don't know how to paddle in a canoe.. can-you?

Thanks to the Buddy Bison School Program, the students from Bayard School do! #NationalCanoeDay

The 6th, 7th, and 8th graders from Wilmington, Delaware, joined naturalists at the delnature.deec as they canoed the Christina River, DE. 

For many students, it was their first time out on the water, let alone in a canoe. They learned how to paddle, the importance of the freshwater marshes, and about the wildlife in the river!
