River Raisin National Battlefield, MI, preserves stories ranging from the War of 1812 to westward expansion.

Visitors to the park can dive into America's complex past by exploring the many historic buildings, monuments, and exhibits scattered throughout the battlefield. From the brutal realities of the battles to the heartbreaking stories of those who lived and died in this place, River Raisin National Battlefield offers an opportunity to witness some of the most tragic events in our nation's history firsthand. 

Between 2019 and 2021, the Park Trust helped preserve some of the most critical lands inside this battlefield park. These acres linked the historic area to Plum Creek, creating a greenway that drastically expanded the greenspace for park-goers. Check out the #LinkInBio to read more!
