Exciting Trail News! 🥾 🥾 

With incredible support from the North Country Trail Association ( northcountrytrail ), National Park Trust has purchased a section of the North Country National Scenic Trail in Ross Township, MI that had been closed since May of 2021. 
Working with the Association, this section of trail will be reopened so that hikers will no longer have to detour along a 55 mph section of highway to reach their next destination. The Park Trust will steward the trail segment until the National Park Service is able to take over permanent ownership.
