Meet these Alaskan Ambassadors: the totem poles of sitkanps. 

Located in the town of Sitka (Sheetʼká) on Baranof Island, AK, this park’s donated totem pole collection is remarkable. There are house posts, as well as frontal and detached poles, which are traditionally carved in the ways of the Tlingit and Haida people. Today, they are symbols that draw people to Alaska and provide a tangible link to the past.
