AI just took another huge step.

Earlier today OpenAI dropped their latest tool, a text-to-video model called 'Sora.'

While not available to the greater public yet, OpenAI is sharing the tech with academics for further research and giving access to certain artists and creatives for feedback on how it can best be used going forward.

The examples OpenAI shared are mind-blowing and represent a huge leap in AI advancement.

In a statement, the company admitted the model is still far from perfect, showing videos where some humans still give off uncanny valley vibes, along with another example where a man was running backwards on a treadmill.
