Like Musiq, Miss Jill Scott was readying her debut effort and played an integral part in the early career of Musiq. Not only did she pen the female part for “Girl Next Door,” she helped push his confidence through the roof, allowing him to become the song maestro he is today. Gotta love teamwork.
