During his time with Leaders of the New School, Busta had writer‘s block and failed to deliver a song on the beat, which led to Nas later taking the record and creating “Halftime.” What’s crazier, Busta rapped about the situation on When Disaster Strikes without ever namedropping the record. Crazy to think about it knowing the “Halftime” dropped 30 years ago.
