The season of USMNT striker Josh Sargent and former USMNT striker David Wagner, now manager at Norwich, came to an end today after getting beaten 4-0 by Leeds United in the promotion playoff.

Sargent started the game, but got taken off after half-time when Norwich were losing 3-0.

Norwich were beaten by a familiar name, Daniel Farke. 

He managed Norwich for four years and helped them get promoted to the Premier League twice by winning the Championship. He also signed Sargent for the club back in 2021.

Sargent had a good season for himself. Despite an injury issue, he made 29 appearances across all competitions and scored 16 goals.

Just like last season, the 24-year-old finished the season as the top scorer for Norwich.
