## Caption

The San Francisco Bay Area Office of Council on American-Islamic Relations and the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee filed a federal civil rights complaint last Wednesday against Berkeley public schools, alleging harassment and discrimination against Palestinian, Arab and Muslim students.

The complaint, which was sent to the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, also claims lack of action by Berkeley Unified School District leadership in addressing these concerns.
