During an interview on the "Disruptors" podcast in November, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" author Robert Kiyosaki shared his philosophy on accumulating debt. ⁠

"I'm a billion dollars in debt because debt is money," he went on to say.⁠
⁠
Kiyosaki explained that there's "good debt" and "bad debt," with his being "good debt" because it's been accumulated by purchasing assets like loans, real estate, and businesses. ⁠
⁠
Known for his disdain towards the US dollar, Kiyosaki opts to put his savings into gold, silver, Bitcoin, and (wait for it) Wagyu cattle.⁠
⁠
It should go without saying, this approach comes with risks. Kiyosaki himself has experienced past financial problems, and even filed for bankruptcy in 2012.⁠
