Two LSU students who were set to graduate Friday died in a plane crash Wednesday that also killed their father, a Baton Rouge plastic surgeon.⁠

Giselle and Jean-Luc Doucet, children of Lucius J. Doucet III, died in the crash about 20 miles south of Nashville, LSU confirmed in a statement. ⁠

"We are devastated to hear this news, and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Doucet family and all those close to them," the statement said.⁠
