This #WorldBloodDonorDay and in celebration of National Blood Donor Week, we’re recapping what we’ve been up to the past couple of weeks. 

Sergeant Belinda Walsh recently celebrated her 100th donation at a lifebloodau pop-up at the Victoria Police Centre. Police support dog, River, even joined in on the special occasion. 

The pop-up saw 168 donations across the 5 days – that's up to 504 lives saved! 

Last week, we also attended the launch of the Emergency Services Blood Drive, which runs from June through to the end of August. 

There’s nothing like some friendly competition between emergency responders to help bolster donations.
