Today, Victoria Police joins the community in celebrating #IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia.

IDAHOBIT is an important day to show support for our LGBTIQ+ communities and take a stand against violence and discrimination.

Every year, police proudly participate in community events across the state to raise awareness of LGBTIQ+ inclusion and celebrate our rainbow community.

We are a proud employer of people of all genders and sexual orientations, and are committed to creating an environment which is inclusive and safe from discrimination, sexual harassment, victimisation and bullying.

Our LGBTIQ+ liaison officers (LLOs) serve as contact points for community, to create mutual trust between police and the LGBTIQ+ community.
