During late summers, a private trout pond in Wisconsin grappled with an unwanted visitor: excessive algae. This unwelcome guest would throw the water quality off balance, putting the health of the trout at risk. 🐟

Gregory Eirschele, a chemical engineer who owns and fishes in this pond, tried a conventional aeration system, but it did not improve the water quality. 💧
