This is Phil Goldfine. My new best friend. Bob Proctor introduced us last summer. Phil likes to swim and make movies 🎥 He tells stories really well. In 2014 he did it so well, he won an Academy Award for best documentary. I thought it would be tacky to ask him to bring his Oscar to lunch, but I did think about it. Twice. I think he liked my story. He thinks I should write a book about my experience over the last couple of years. Talk to people about extracting the positive out of the worst situations. Talk about developing mental toughness. How not to quit on the important things in life. Teach people how to grow through anything life throws at them. How to fight when you have to, no matter the odds, even when you feel like running away. Talk about the heartache, disappointment, grief, sorrow, fear, tears, social media attacks, criticism, defeat, public ridicule, losing everything you thought was important, but clinging to what really matters most. I'm gonna talk to people about God. How He allows things to happen, not to hurt you, but to prepare you. I'm excited for what He has in store for me, because I'm asking for and ready for His best blessings. So that's what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna write a book and I'm gonna do it really well.
