Flashback nearly seven decades to this shot of students waiting in line for tuberculosis tests during Fall Orientation in 1951. Thanks to Library_PC for finding this #FBF gem in their archives. #FriarsProtectFriars

The text on the side of the Providence Tuberculosis League's mobile testing unit reads:

Who has TB?
"Looks" won't tell
but the X-ray will
Play safe and have a chest X-ray

From the_cowl, Sept. 1953:

Dean Explains Need Of Chest T.B. X-Ray

"All students who fail to take their chest X-Ray on campus will be put through the inconvenience of visiting the mobile unit downtown," emphasized the Rev. Vincent C. Dore, O.P., Dean of Studies, yesterday, as he discussed the importance of taking an X-Ray.
It is imperative that all students have an X-Ray taken so that the report may be placed in their medical file at the college. No one is excused from this test regardless of the date of their last examination.
The mobile unit will be on campus, behind Aquinas Hall, until tomorrow afternoon. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students must obtain a card from Father Dore's office before visiting the unit."
