Presbyterian College and prestigious Hannam University on Thursday struck a landmark sister school agreement, reinvigorating and dramatically expanding a partnership spanning more than 65 years. More details will follow in the coming months, but both sides anticipate partnering on: student and faculty exchange (including degree programs), an immersive virtual Korean language instruction program for PC students, thoughtful English language training for visiting Korean students, a robust pipeline for Hannam students to Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy, dedicated office space on each other’s campuses, and much more. Hannam University overwhelmed the PC delegation with their incredible hospitality, generosity, and eagerness to partner in creative, game-changing fashion. The two institutions are natural collaborators, dating back to Hannam’s 1956 founding by a group that included PC graduate Dr. John Somerville. Together, PC and Hannam have pledged to build a partnership that sets a new bar for international sister school institutions.
