It really was great practice though lol 

Our backstory: In the summer of 2022 our pup had to get surgery on her leg. When winter rolled around she was well enough to take long walks but the jog down while I skied back to the car was just a bit too much for her so I would let her hike up and then I’d carry her down. You can’t tell in the first video but I am actually pregnant (early second trimester)! 

Flash forward to this winter and my pup is heeled up enough to jog beside me again but I have a new passenger princess to carry! My daughter LOVES to be outside and was making the cutest happy sounds as we made our way (very slowly) back down to the car. 

I’ve never felt comfortable taking my dog anywhere that wasn’t super mellow and safe so I have a couple of go-to spots already that are perfect for ski adventures with the baby. What qualifies as perfect in this situation? Well, basically a glorified walk with skis on my feet haha My goal is just to get us all outside to get some fresh air <3
