Irish dignitaries were guests of the Consul General of Ireland Sarah Mangan and Irish Ambassador to Britain Martin Fraser and met with President of Ireland Micheal D Higgins following the delivery of the inaugural Dr John Kennedy lecture series. 

Our CEO Prof. Maggie O’ Carroll met with President Higgins and Sabina Higgins and shared some reflections on the lecture in which he highlighted the critical role of women’s economic empowerment and investment and they discussed one of President Higgins most inspiring books Causes for Concern published in 2014 which focuses on issues that are pertinent today.
