Laura Pennafort has primarily been using the RED #VRAPTOR, and occasionally the RED #GEMINI5K for its low light capabilities, to film animal behavior in a range of environments and challenging conditions for wildlife series set to be released in the coming years.

Laura has ended up spending much of her time in jungles and rainforests, which, for her have been the most physically demanding, yet rewarding, shoots. Long hikes into the jungle carrying heavy gear, coupled with swarms of mosquitoes, insect bites, unexpected rains, heat and the humidity are just a few challenges, but the magic of being immersed in the forest with the most relaxing nature sounds and incredible wildlife sightings makes it all worthwhile. Having a lighter setup for long treks over uneven ground is ideal, which is why she says the RED V-RAPTOR was a great choice.

“The best part of my job is having the privilege to spend long hours with animals and really dive into their world, learn about their behavior and personalities and to make those sightings accessible to people all over the world through the footage we capture. The sense of connection to wildlife that people get by watching natural history documentaries can have a huge impact on their actions and ultimately inspire them to protect nature, which gives me an even greater sense of purpose.
