On May 3rd, amethystbias and I returned to chenahotsprings with all the excitement in the world. In late March we had gone to Chena and we missed the chance to get in the hot springs, go to the ice museum and eat. But that isn’t why we were jumping with joy, on that late March day Amethyst took a step off the path to take an image and fell directly in a hole, losing one of her ugg Tasman slippers in the process, see slide two for her in the snow. We spent a good 25 minutes digging out the snow, getting pricked by the plants under the ice, see slide three for me mid search. We called it and left, Amethyst telling me to throw the ugg away but I knew if we waited long enough the shoe would melt from the ice. So with the help of johnmmathis we searched and found the shoe.

All I gotta say is shoutout to ugg because after a few good washes they’re as good as new!
