## Caption

As my first semester of college comes to an end, I look back and have no words to thank for each of the moments I’ve lived. 10 months ago I decided to leave the track as an athlete knowing that it was a stage of my life that had to be closed, but after that I convinced myself to stay in the sports world no matter what. If I could tell this younger Luis everything we have achieved, he probably wouldn’t believe it. From covering my first events doing photos for my best friends back in Costa Rica, to covering an NCAA championship or even an SEC football game, this year definitely changed my life. 
However, no matter how many meets, how many games, or how many cool shots I’ve taken, the best thing this year has given me has been the people.
I’ll always be infinitely grateful to alex_febles for believing in me and allowing me to be part of such a talented and incredible team of creatives. To ericmichael1 for becoming a big brother and inspiring me to be the best version of myself, not only as a creator but as a human being. To gatormeg53 for welcoming me to her team with open arms and trusting me to work with her. To dannyhshin for always being willing to help and pushing me to be a better storyteller. To bobo.studios for being like a mentor and for inspiring me to put all my effort and love into the team. To gabriellawhislerphoto and arik.morton for every experience we’ve had with the team, it wouldn’t have been the same without you. And to every single person I’ve met along the way who has made me grow so much, thank you. 
This is just the beginning and I want to keep this post as a reminder to always be grateful for each opportunity and to never take anything for granted.
