## Caption

One of the world's most intriguing ancient ruins is on its way to making history once again.

Peru's Machu Picchu, one of the great wonders of the world and the seat of the ancient Incan civilization, has also become one of the biggest tourist destinations. Now, it aims to become the first carbon-neutral wonder of the world.

The Peruvian government is lowering emissions and planting millions of trees, plus it built a hydroelectric plant beneath the ruins and poured tons of money into supporting local businesses.

Which brings us to our next question... who's coming with us on a hike through the Andes?
