## Caption

Our next team award is the Rookie of the Year.  Since he was already voted ACCHL Premier Rookie of the Year, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Kam Khazai is also ours!  Khazai, a Freshman from McLean, VA, joined the Hokies from Team Maryland and Langley HS and made an immediate impact, slotting into the top line and finishing with 43 points on 21 G and 22 A in 24 games.  He led the team in goals, was 2nd in assists, 2nd in points, and tied for the team lead in PP points and GWG.  His 3 SHG this season established a new team record.  Congrats, Kam, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead!
