1) We are all on a search for our personal treasure-the work in our life we find most meaningful.
Treasure’s root word “Tesauros” also means
“MEANING” —thesaurus aka giving meaning to.
So, the search for our real personal treasure is where life finds meaning.

2) when we make the search about money or time, we open ourselves up to too many tasks that can fulfill those things.
We have to focus on the WORK as the goal — the work that’s more important to us than money or time And that can only be a few things for each of us.

3) You can’t find it in a spreadsheet, it’s not on a beach in Tulum-it’s in one spot and on spot only-your heart.
Where a man’s treasure is, there will his heart be also.
Your first life is about finding the treasure, then you spend the rest of your life giving it away.

4) For my dad, he loves being a litigator— chasing bad guys, and destroying the lives of ppl who used their power improperly.
I saw his passion for it and tried to copy it by being a lawyer too-but I hated it-bc my heart wasn’t in it.

5) The best way to start the search is simply to end all work that you only do for more time and money and give yourself space to chase your curiosity. Your heart speaks to you with the feeling of “enthusiasm”.
