Yesterday’s first-ever #WorldSpeciesCongress was filled with success stories of species recovering from around the globe. The celebrations included sessions featuring species like Black-footed Ferrets, Indus River Dolphins, Saiga, and Orange-bellied Parrots, who have all celebrated a successful boost in their populations thanks to conservation efforts.

More than 9,700 attendees from over 190 countries met online for a packed 24 hours of collaboration and signed a pledge to reverse declines by 2030. Organizations have collectively pledged to help reverse declines of over 3,750 species by 2030, in a shared effort to #ReverseTheRed to prevent global extinctions. rewild supports the work of reverse.the.red in their commitment to facilitate coordination and accelerate action for the protection of threatened species.
