Internship Spotlight: Emme Hayes ’24, Intern for the Age and Dementia Friendly Group at SeniorCare

Hear from Emme about her fall 2023 internship: “I was able to learn from a new population I had never worked with before and understand what went into making communities age and dementia safe. I learned lessons in empathy, support, survey skills, and communication. My favorite part of the internship was being a part of multiple community events. I loved interacting with older adults and learning more about their challenges. I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences I had at SeniorCare.”
