Budapest! 🏟️🤩

We worked hard for this one, but we couldn’t have had more fun along the way!

Navigating the 1500m rounds never gets easier and I’m so proud to have made my 3rd straight global final in an event that just keeps getting stronger on the world stage and in Australia! A huge congratulations to abbeycaldwelll for becoming the 3rd Aussie woman to go sub 4 and for putting together a very impressive campaign of races across 2 events! 

I was probably a little ambitious with my 5km aspirations, but I’m glad I got out there to see for myself what I could (or couldn’t quite 🥵) do! Proud to have finished 7th in the 1500m working through this half of the year with my dad. It’s a special little stat after we finished 7th way back in 2014 at the World Junior Champs in Eugene last time we entered a global championships as a team. Full circle with a whole lot more to come 🫶🏼

Thank you to my support network over here in Europe and back home for keeping me happy and healthy all year! Thanks athleticsaustralia for taking care of anything and everything we could have needed in the lead up to and in Budapest! Our 🇦🇺 team is really building some special momentum and our medical and high performance team staff are making it possible for us to perform at our best when we put the Australian uniform on.

Excited for another few weeks of racing before looking ahead to next years big sports carnival!
