Here are five tips for shooting with a softbox in a restaurant:

-Choose the right size of softbox: Depending on the size of the restaurant and the number of people or dishes you are trying to capture, you should choose the appropriate size of softbox.
-Position the softbox correctly: The position of your softbox is crucial for creating the desired effect. I always recommend feathering it to get the best contrast and moodiness.
-Use a low-power flash: In a restaurant setting, you may not want to use a high-powered flash as it can be distracting or disruptive to diners. Instead, consider using low settings.
-Get a battery operated light: In a restaurant, not having to deal with cables is a great deal, I don’t think I need to explain to you why.
-Be mindful of your surroundings: In a restaurant, you need to be mindful of your surroundings and not disrupt diners or staff. Position your softbox in a way that doesn’t block pathways, and try to be as inconspicuous as possible to ensure a smooth shooting process.
