"𝙁𝘼𝙑𝙊𝙍𝙄𝙏𝙀 𝙂𝙀𝘼𝙍 𝙎𝙀𝙏𝙐𝙋 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙂𝘼𝙈𝙀𝘿𝘼𝙔𝙎?"
Man, it changes game-to-game, stadium-to-stadium 🎥. I don’t do a ton of storyboarding or game planning before each game, but I do try to take into consideration the time of day, where the sun is moving, and what the environment is going to be like ✅. Ideally, I’m shooting on a single, prime lens like a #27mm venuslaowa #nanomorph for all of pregame. But, this past game, we shot on some new glass and all of these pregame frames were filmed on the blackmagicnewsofficial #6KPro with the new dzofilm #VESPID T2.1 Cine Primes, specifically the #16mm, #25mm, #50mm, and #90mm macro. These lenses are wild 🤯 They got a minimum focus distance of like 12” and they resolve crazy well in post. Lol, not at the moment 😅 but I’ve had a ton of folks reaching out about it. I definitely plan on creating a LUT pack though 🎨. I think the thing I’ve struggled with about making a LUT pack is that it’s really just a starting point, and I just don’t want people to think that it’s going to be a drop-and-go, color grading solution. As long as everyone is on-board with that, I’ll get to work! If there’s a specific LUT/style you’re particularly invested in emulating, let me know in the comments!

I honestly haven’t taken a ton of online courses, outside of fulltimefilmmaker & #freelancecoloristmasterclass , but both of them were extremely helpful from an editing & color standpoint. But, I think just as important as the courses, are some of the guys that I’ve gotten a ton for great information and resources throughout the years: geraldundone , make.art.now , dannygevirtz , dustinarmstrongpro , vuhlandes , curtis.judd , anamorphiconabudget , and so many more.
