This is probably the second most asked question I get. I’m sure everyone’s path is different, but a couple of great routes are: 1) An internship through your college - lots of colleges have internship programs with teams. We happen to have a great partnership with unt and it’s probably where a majority of our creatives come from. 2) Networking on linkedin and reaching out to people within those organizations that you’re looking to be apart of. This is super underrated! 3) Teamworkonline.com - probably the best way to find jobs in the sports world, if you don’t have the ability to internship through a college or partnership program. This is actually where I applied and found openings with the Cowboys ✭

There’s a hundred factors into why one camera might get picked over another in the sports world. Personally, we use blackmagicnewsofficial #6kpros and canonusa cameras 🎥 because we are in an EF-mount ecosystem, but also because we find these cameras help serve a lot of different needs outside of sports. But, I would say that a ton of our friends and peers with different teams would argue that the sony #fx3 and #fx6 are the current best cameras for shooting sports, and they could 💯 have a legitimate case - especially with news of the #a9III coming out with global shutter 😮‍💨

I’ve responded to a few of y’all on this, but yes and no. I went to tamu for #visualization but then switched over to Telecommunications & Media Studies (our version of radio, television, and film). I wasn’t apart of any production programs, but I did join a film club on campus and worked an internship with espn working basketball games. After college, I moved to #siliconvalley and that’s really where I first picked up a camera and pretty much learned everything I know from youtube tutorials, lol 😂
