𝗖𝗢𝗪𝗕𝗢𝗬𝗦 X 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗧𝗦

dallascowboys gameday, frame by frame. Love being at home. attstadium just hits different. The stadium. The fans. The atmosphere. Everything. 

On a typical gameday, we’re arriving around 4-hours prior to kickoff and going through our check list. Step 1) Go Park ✓ Step 2) Security check-in ✓ Step 3) Drop equipment off ✓ Step 4) Stretch ✓ Step 5) Quick huddle on gameday assignments ✓ Step 6) Go out and start filming ✓

First stop is arrivals, capturing everything from cars, jewelry, fashion, fan interactions, etc. On a normal gameday, I’m usually flying a canonusa #C70 with a 16-35mm f/4, but this game I was running a venuslaowa 27mm #nanomorph with the blackmagicnewsofficial 6K Pro. 

Second stop is pregame sweats, focusing on player interactions & personality (coachable moments, dancing, singing, warmups, etc.). On a normal gameday, I’m usually flying that same C70 but with a little bit more lens, like a sigmaphoto 24-105mm f/4, that way I can be close when I need to but also shoot from a distance. 

Third stop is pregame pads, focusing on tunnel runouts, team huddles, and more action-based shots. Gear for this honestly changes a ton, depending on what I’m going for, but I typically like shooting as close as I can and wide-open 🎥

Fourth stop is game. Most of the time, I’m following/shooting for game-action, instead of player ISOs or detail, and I’m usually shooting on a Canon C70 or 6KPro with a Canon #cne70200mm . We actually try and compete against each other to see who can get clip of the game 📸

Last stop is postgame, focusing on jersey swaps, player walkoff celebrations, and locker room speech. Typically, I’ll shoot on a 24-70mm or 24-105mm to get as much information as I can for the viewer to take in.
