One person died and more than 70 other passengers were injured after a Singapore Airlines flight from London to Singapore experienced severe turbulence, forcing an emergency landing in Bangkok, Thailand. Passenger Dzafran Azmir said those who were standing were the most injured. He said people went completely horizontal during the plane's drop in altitude and landed in awkward positions when it leveled out.
