#BMWArtCar20 combines juliemehretu’s visual aesthetics with the idea of the glitch and the blur, turning speed into a visceral experience. Her car is fiercely energetic on the racetrack and as a creative space, paying homage to art car artists #JennyHolzer and #FrankStella while playing on visuals from Mad Max to street art. 
 
“The whole BMW Art Car project is about invention, about imagination, about pushing limits of what can be possible.” says Mehretu.
